Education, not medical advice
The content on this site is general patient education. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for a consultation with a clinician who has examined you and knows your history. Do not use it to decide on treatment without that consultation.
Temporary results and maintenance
Every filler result is temporary. Filler dissipates over time, and maintenance treatment is required to keep a result continuous. No duration, interval or outcome described on this site is a promise; individual response varies with the area treated, the substance class and your own metabolism.
No guaranteed outcome
No treatment described here can be guaranteed. Results vary with anatomy, healing and time, and no result is permanent. Where this site describes typical onset, typical duration or a typical maintenance interval, it describes a range drawn from general experience rather than a commitment about your own case.
When to seek care urgently
After any injection, severe pain out of proportion to the procedure, or skin turning white, grey, mottled or dusky, is a vascular emergency and requires immediate assessment. Any change in vision requires emergency care. Fever, spreading redness or pus at an injection site requires prompt assessment. Do not wait for a review appointment.
